Bucks Baidik Association
We are a community-led, non-profit religiuos and cultural organisation based in High Wycombe. Our mission is to preserve, promote, and celebrate the rich heritage of Hindu Bengali culture among families and individuals living in and around the local area. We are committed to fostering cultural awareness, spiritual enrichment, and community cohesion through traditional festivals, artistic programs, educational workshops, and social gatherings. Our initiatives are open to all — whether you are from a Bengali background or simply interested in exploring the vibrancy of our customs.
Our Objectives
Celebrate Culture: Organising key cultural and religious events, such as Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja, Lakshmi Puja, and other traditional Bengali festivities.
Promote Community Engagement: Creating inclusive spaces where people of all ages can participate, learn, and connect through shared experiences.
Support Youth Involvement: Encouraging younger generations to understand and embrace their roots through language, music, dance, and storytelling.
Build Bridges: Promoting intercultural dialogue and partnerships with other local communities, fostering mutual respect and understanding.
Get Involved: Whether you’re looking to reconnect with your roots, introduce your children to cultural values, or simply enjoy the festive atmosphere, the Bucks Baidik Hindu Bengali Association welcomes you.
Together, we aim to make High Wycombe a vibrant hub of Bengali culture and tradition for generations to come to represent a true multicultural Britain.
